1. Steven's three points from the sermon were: Connect, Enlist, and Empower.
    1. Share how you sense God connecting, enlisting, and empowering you in recent days.
    2. Have you sensed God enlisting and empowering you with a clear sense of his presence towards those who are different from you? Share.
  2. In Eph. 2:10, Paul states that "through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms."
    1. Talk about what Paul meant by "manifold"?
    2. How does God speak to you through this statement?
  3. What steps can our Bridge Group take to make the "many various colors" of the wisdom of God that Paul describes be evident in the body we call Bridge Church?
  4. How will you as a Bridge Group keep each other accountable?
  5. Prayer: Spend time in prayer together. If necessary, confess to God your shortcomings in approaching your situation. Ask for his help in being still. Ask him for the wisdom to engage with those who are different from you.
  6. Encourage your Bridge Group to listen to the following podcast during the week (http://www.theliturgists.com/podcast/2016/3/29/episode-34-black-and-white-racism-in-america). What kind of thoughts, questions and concerns stir within you as you listen? Does it provoke anger, uncomfortableness, awkwardness, etc...? Be honest and write your thoughts down. There's no right or wrong answer. The first step towards intentional multi-culturalism is seeing where we stand in the topic of race and embracing that truth about us. Share your thoughts with your Bridge Group the next time you meet and thereafter.
