Journey of Renewal

Becoming a mature and multiplying follower of Jesus Christ.

What is the journey of renewal?

Have you ever been on a trip where you didn't have directions on where to go? Some people love it, others have a difficult time with it.

The Journey of Renewal is our roadmap towards seeing lives and the city renewed through Jesus Christ. This path isn't a spiritual checklist but we believe it's a path that will encourage you to grow deeper with Jesus and help you become a Kingdom Catalyst. Keep reading and we'll show you how!

Church 101

Taking your first step on the journey.

Church 101 is a workshop intended to help you get to know who we are and for us to get to know you. Continue to read about what we mean by church and how you can attend one of our monthly Church 101 workshops.

What is the Church?

The church isn't a building or a physical space contrary to popular belief. The church is the people of God on mission together towards renewing their city and the world. We gather weekly to worship, engage the Word of God and experience the Lord's Sacraments (baptism and communion). The church isn't just a religious institution, rather, it's the place where people come to know Jesus in community. But we believe that worshiping together is a vital part of the Christian faith so we meet on a weekly basis on Sundays at 10:30am at Hoover High School.

Church 101 workshop

We have a Church 101 Workshop which is offered once a month after our Sunday Gathering. If you would like to come to our next workshop, sign up here:

Why do Life-on-Life Relationships Matter?

In our digital age, you can connect with anyone, anywhere, anytime. But relationships take more than just a status update or awesome selfie. Relationships take time, space, and commitment. We believe that one of the primary ways we grow in Christ is through community.

What we do at Bridge

There are a few ways we foster Life-on-Life relationships at Bridge.

  1. Bridge Groups - weekly gathering of 12-15 men and women at someone's home to share a meal and get into the Bible.
  2. Disciple-Making Groups - weekly or bi-monthly gathering of gender specific groups of 3-6 people to dive deeper with each other.
  3. Focus Bridge Groups - we have focus groups for people who are interested in faith and work, people struggling with addiction, and more.
